Alicia Harris is the founder of Essenc of Healing. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey, a certified school counselor, and a motivational speaker. Alicia is passionate about pouring into the cups of others and has extensive knowledge and experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in educational, professional, and mental health settings. Alicia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling with School Counseling Certification.
Additionally, Alicia has proudly served 16+ years in federal service, spending most of her career assisting airports nationwide with operational management and workforce development. Outside of her federal career, she has devoted time to providing mentorship and mental health therapy to children and young adults and continues to do so.
Alicia holds many roles, but her favorite is being a mom to her talented teenage daughter. As a mom, counselor, career coach, mentor, and consultant, her glass-shattering experiences have allowed her to reach, help improve and transform the lives of many.
Providing individuals with awareness, creating methods of adaptability, and supporting continued growth is the foundation of her life’s work, and her journey does not end here.
